Liberty Series PRO

Field-Tunable Everything.

PRO tier of the luxoRCH LSBX shoebox family. Engineered for parking lots, façades, roadways, campuses, and public areas where on-site flexibility decides the spec. Five housings cover 50–450W (replaces 250W–2000W MH). Field-set wattage, CCT, AND magnetic tool-less optic swap at install — pop the lid, lift the optic, drop in a new distribution. No tools. No truck roll-back. Die-cast aluminum, IP65, −40°F to 122°F, 6kV surge built-in (10/20kV inline optional). contrLS-Ready · Bi-Level / /ACS Bluetooth Mesh / SILVAIR SIG Mesh on the same physical sensor — vendor neutrality without a hardware swap.

Change the optic. Not the fixture. In sixty seconds.

Liberty's optic is held by magnets — not fasteners. Pop the lid, lift the lens, drop in a different distribution. Type-II, Type-III, Type-IV, Type-V all interchangeable in the field. No tools. No truck roll-back. No re-spec when the as-built lighting layout shifts.

Liberty fixture with the lid opened, exposing the Type-III field-swappable optic held in position by magnetic retention. The LED engine is visible beside the lens module.
Step 1 · Open the lid

Magnetic-tab lid pops open by hand.

No tools required. The lid releases from the housing on a captive hinge so it can’t fall to the ground — helpful at 30 ft on a man-lift.

Top-down view of the Liberty pro-optics polycarbonate lens panel showing the precision micro-prismatic refractor cells that shape the IES Type-III distribution. This module is the field-swappable component.
Step 2 · Lift the optic

UV-stabilized polycarbonate refractor.

Standard ships with Type-III. Replacement OT3 / OT4 / OT5 modules sized per wattage class (100W / 200W / 300W / 450W) are QuickShip accessories — see Section 8b.

Underside view of the Liberty optic showing the magnetic retention tabs at each corner of the lens panel. These rare-earth magnets register against ferrous targets in the housing rim, holding the lens in position without screws or clips.
Step 3 · Drop in the new optic

Magnets register · housing self-aligns.

The replacement lens snaps into the same registration points. Power-up, verify aim with the IES distribution change, close the lid. Total swap time: under 60 seconds per fixture.

Five housings. One chassis. Field-set everything.

Step the housing class to the wattage you need — 50W → 450W in five stepped tiers replacing 250W → 2000W metal halide. Each housing carries a 3-position WATTSELECT DIP and 3-position CCTSELECT DIP · field-tunable at install without re-spec.

Section 4 · Highlights & Features

What Liberty does that the rest of the category doesn't.

Six features that separate Liberty from Lithonia DSX1, Cooper Galleon, Cree XSP, RAB ALED, and the rest of the under-$500 area-light field. Lead is the magnetic optic swap — nothing else in the price tier productizes it.

Liberty pro-optics polycarbonate refractor lens close-up showing the precision micro-prismatic cells that shape the IES distribution. This module is field-swappable via magnetic retention.
proPTICS · Magnetic Field-Swap

Change the optic. Not the fixture.

Magnetic-retained polycarbonate optic lifts out by hand. Drop in Type II / III / IV / V in under 60 seconds at install — without tools, truck roll-back, or fixture re-spec when the as-built layout shifts. No competitor under $500 productizes this swap pattern.

  • 4 IES distributions interchangeable on the same housing
  • Rare-earth magnets register against ferrous targets
  • OT3 / OT4 / OT5 replacement modules QuickShip per wattage class
5-Housing Ladder

Five housings. One chassis.

50W → 450W in five stepped tiers replacing 250W → 2000W metal halide. Step the housing class to your retrofit lane · field-set wattage with the 3-position WATTSELECT DIP.

  • 9 wattage configs per housing · 45 SKUs total
  • 3-CCTSELECT (3000K / 4000K / 5000K) on every housing
  • Dark Bronze QS · Black / White / RAL on MTO
contrLS · 3 Protocols, 1 Hardware

Vendor-neutral controls.

Same physical sensor runs Bi-Level PIR, CS Bluetooth Mesh, or SILVAIR SIG Mesh — firmware/protocol differs, hardware identical. No vendor lock-in.

  • NLC-compliant · rebate-stack qualified (DLC NLC pending on /ACS)
  • Field-commission via IR remote, BLE app, or SIG-conformant tool
  • Multi-vendor BMS integration without proprietary gateway
darkRCH

True U0 sky-glow reduction.

Dark-sky-conscious optical design with true U0 architecture — minimizes uplight to support IDA-zone deployments. Field-swappable optics keep the U0 rating regardless of distribution choice.

  • Type-III / IV / V all darkRCH-compliant
  • BUG rating per IES TM-15 ready (varies by distribution)
  • IDA zone-1 to zone-3 spec lanes · no uplight component
surgeRMOR + wetGUARD

Built to outlast the install.

6 kV surge baseline built-in · optional 10 / 20 kV inline SPD for harsher electrical environments. IP65 wet-location sealing · -40°F to 122°F operating envelope.

  • LM-79 IES bundle: 5 housings × 3 distributions = full matrix coverage
TAA + 7-Year Warranty

Above the category baseline.

7-year / 75,000-hour warranty — above the 5-yr / 50kh category baseline. TAA-compliant Made-in-Mexico configurations available on every housing class for federal, state, and DOT spec eligibility.

  • cULus listed · DLC tier targeting Premium (QPL ID pending)
  • RoHS · LM-79 / LM-80 / TM-21 tested by independent lab
  • Color shift <180K over warranty period per ANSI C78.377

contrLS

Three controls platforms. ECO-grade ticket.

One housing, three controls platforms — pick what the project needs. contrLS Bi-Level for occupancy bi-level without networking. contrLS by CS for Bluetooth Mesh + cloud SaaS (DLC NLC pending). contrLS by SILVAIR for SIG-qualified, vendor-neutral, gateway-free enterprise mesh. All three drop in via /MSP-XXX ordering codes on the same Heritage housing — no install changes. ECO competitors (RAB A17, Keystone XFit, private-label) ship dim-driver only. Carrying CS + SILVAIR side-by-side at ECO pricing is the protocol-flexibility lever Heritage shares with the PRO siblings on the LSBX family.

Two PIR bi-level variants — IR-remote commissioned, no gateway, no IT. /BLS standard auto high/low switching · /BLS-5D adds 5 manual dials for site-tuned thresholds. Both: PIR · 49-ft mount · 10-15Vdc · IP65 · UL. Commissioning via optional RM-06S IR remote (45-ft range · 2× AAA · IP20). Drives Title 24 §140.7 / IECC §C405.2 / ASHRAE 90.1 bi-level credits — no third-party sensor BOM line, no networking. Daylight-harvest capable: adjust lux threshold (>50 lux), preset standby, 3× press to enable. The spec when occupancy bi-level is enough.
