New-Construction Plate
Set the downlight before the ceiling goes up.
A galvanized-iron plate that holds a downlight in position before the drywall goes up. It spans joists or sits in a T-grid, with mount rings for 4, 6, 8 and 10 in fixtures and a fixed place for the remote J-box. The soft-conduit junction box is its own catalog number. Order the plate and the J-box as two lines.
