Spectra LED Downlight

The light engine carries an integral junction box, so there is no recessed can to buy or set. Bring the supply into the engine's box, close it, and feed engine and trim up through the hole.

The engine twists and locks into the reflector trim. The trim is its own part, so you pick its size and finish apart from the engine. Two spring clips hold it to the ceiling.

Each engine has two switches: three wattage steps and three color temperatures. Set them before you turn the power on. From the factory, every engine is on its top step and 4000K.

Round reflector trims in 4, 6 and 8 in, in matte black, matte white or semi-specular. The 10–20 W and 27–40 W engines fit every size; the 60 W engine fits the 6 and 8 in trims.

The violet and pink leads take a 0–10V dimmer. The 10–20 W and 27–40 W engines dim to 10 %; the 60 W engine dims to 1 %. Line, neutral and ground land on black, white and green with the quick-disconnect in the box.

Cut the ceiling hole to the trim: 4.7–5.2″ for 4 in, 6–7.3″ for 6 in, 7.4–8.9″ for 8 in. The flange covers the cut.
